“The funny thing was that the moment I started to push not only did the contraction not hurt, it actually felt really good to push!! And I knew from your class the harder and better I pushed, the faster it would be over!! Everyone was so amazed at how wonderful I felt but the doctor said it was because there was no epidural that everything went so fast (and I was a very efficient pusher!!). “I pushed for about an hour and a half and John Michael came into the world. He is such a delight. When they moved me down to the mother baby room, all the nurses were shocked that I had him with no meds. I’m really glad I went med free but it’s not for the faint of heart. If I wasn’t such a determined person or didn’t have the husband I have, I don’t think I could given birth med free. I was pretty tough. Again thank you for a great class and wonderful encouragement.
